How To Actually Grow Your Blog In 90 Days Or Less

Growing your blog isn’t easy. But you don’t need me to tell you that.

Compared to some bloggers, I’m still new to the game. I’ve been blogging for almost a year and a half now so I guess that would still make me a “beginner” to some people.

But what if I told you that within 10 months of launching my blog I was able to leave my full-time position to take my blog biz full-time? When I say that I don’t look as much of a beginner, huh?

One of the most popular questions I get asked is how I did it. How I was able to grow my blog and monetize my passion in less than a year. And how I was able to hold myself accountable to my goals to actually achieve them!

You see, I’ve got a pretty killer system in place. In just the past 3 months, I…

• Improved my affiliate income to make over $140 this month,
• Went from 5k to 10k monthly pageviews on my blog,
• Was featured on 3 different websites (one was Tailwind!),
• Improved my lead generation to generate over 150 email subscribers a month,
• Hit 640k monthly viewers on Pinterest,
• Taught a PAID in-person class making $120,
• and landed 4 new clients.

In that time, I also created and launched 20 YouTube videos, 12 blog posts, 25+ Instagram posts, 100+ Instagram stories and… (drum roll please)… my paid product that’s launching next week! March 19th to be exact!

Although all this stuff sounds amazing, growing my blog hasn’t always been easy. When I first got started, I was spinning my wheels for about 6 months. I felt like I was doing everything right because I was listening to what was working for other people.

It took me 6 months to realize that what worked for everyone else might not work for me. So I made a change. And the next 3 months were the most influential months of my blog biz.

In just 90 days, I watched my blog completely transform and grow in ways that other’s couldn’t figure out. And now, I want to help you do the same!

PERSISTENCE

This isn’t a get rich quick scam. These aren’t strategies that are guaranteeing that your blog will start making $1,000 a month tomorrow.

Instead, these are strategies for the persistent. For the ones who know that you have to be in it for the long haul to make a real success for yourself.

This blog post isn’t for the blogger who only wants to make money. It isn’t for those who are willing to do whatever it takes to make a quick buck.

This blog post is for the daring and driven who are ready to put in the work to watch their empire grow. This blog post is for the people who want more out of their blog than just the cash.

HOW TO SKYROCKET YOUR BLOG’S GROWTH IN 90 DAYS OR LESS

When you clicked on this post you probably thought that no one could actually tell you something that you haven’t heard before about how to grow your blog. And yet you ended up here.

Growing your blog isn’t easy. I don’t think anyone could tell you how to actually grow your blog in 90 days or less in just a simple blog post. There is just too much information that goes into it.

But what I’ve noticed with working with several bloggers is that they are missing the key fundamentals to grow their blog. They are missing a vision, a plan, and a system to hold themselves accountable to their goals.

And without these 3 things, they struggle to grow their blogs and will continue to struggle until they get their hands on a system that actually works. Consider this blog post a crash course on that system. And it all starts with knowing what you want to achieve.

Know what you want to achieve

Do you know how many bloggers there are in the world? I surely don’t. And I even tried to Google it and they didn’t have a good answer for me because the amount of bloggers is increasing every single day.

Think about it… how many bloggers have you seen on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram combined? I know that I follow several hundred and there are thousands on thousands more that I could follow if I wanted to.

Blogging is an extremely saturated market. And every single blogger, whether they admit it or not, wants to grow their following, monetize their blog, and transform it into a full-time career.

So you saying that you want to skyrocket your blog in the next 90 days isn’t enough. You need to actually know what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it.

Without a clear vision of what you are chasing, you’re likely to fall out of the blogging game. You’ll probably give it a couple months or even a year, and then you’ll quit if you don’t have the persistence to stay the course!

So take a minute to ask yourself this question: What am I trying to achieve with my blog?

It’s okay if you just want to be able to leave your boring 9 to 5 and make a career doing something you love: blogging. And it’s okay if you want to actually make a difference in the world even if it’s just 1 person.

What you are trying to achieve is unique to you. And it will likely come back to the question: What am I doing what I’m doing?

As a blogger, you’re going to spend HOURS working to grow your blog, writing content, taking pictures, and connecting with your followers. You’ve probably already made several sacrifices to have time to work on your blog. So why are you doing that? Why not spend your time watching tv or going to the bar with friends?

Take the time right now to journal down your thoughts and get clear on what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it!

Understand what it would take to achieve your goals

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” If you know what you want but you don’t have a plan to achieve it, you probably won’t achieve it.

So if you really want to grow your blog in the next 90 days, then you need to create a plan for success.

Look back to what you want to achieve, then think about the steps it would take to get there. Maybe what you wrote down is a 5-year goal. Maybe it’s a goal that you could achieve this year if you really worked for it.

It doesn’t matter how far out it is, start to think of everything it would take to get there.

So let’s say that you want to influence millions – that’s what you want to achieve. How would you reach that goal?

Well, it could be by growing your social media following to over 500,000. It could be by speaking on panels across that world. Maybe by hosting a retreat with 250 people 3 times a year. It could be by creating a mastermind group. Or it could be by creating a podcast that has over a million listeners.

See what I’m getting at?

This isn’t going to happen overnight. These aren’t even things that you could achieve in a year. Instead, it’s going to take a lot of time. This could be a 5-year or a 10-year plan. But by understanding what you have to do in order to achieve the success you are looking for, then you can create a real plan for success!

Create a plan for success

This starts by breaking your big goals into 90-day goals. And this is exactly why I titled this blog post How To Actually Grow Your Blog In 90 Days Or Less.

When you set yearly goals, you have a long time to achieve them! There isn’t much of a rush to get to work. And honestly… most people forget about them, let them fall behind the scenes, and continue to do the same things they did last year.

Spoiler Alert: This process will get you nowhere!

Creating 90 day or 3-month goals is my jam! And it’s the key to my success.

With 90 day goals, you have something specific that you are working toward at all times. And you know that you only have 3 months to achieve them so you better get to work!

Right now, I want you to create 3 goals for yourself to achieve in the next 3 months. Once you have those 3 goals, go through the process we just did of thinking of everything you’d have to do to achieve those goals.

Once you’ve got that down, you’ve got your plan for success. And it’s time to get to work.

Hold yourself accountable to that plan

Sometimes the problem isn’t actually creating the plan, it’s sticking to it. With the number of distractions that can arise, especially if your blog is your side hustle, it can be easy to put your blog on the back burner.

But that has to stop today if you want to skyrocket your blog’s growth in 90 days!

So how do you hold yourself accountable? You break down your projects into 2-week sections.

Look back to the 3 goals that you want to achieve in the next 3 months. Then take a look at the project list you would have to complete to achieve each of those goals. You need to break those projects down into 2-week sections until eh end of your 3 months. You should have six 2-week sections for you to complete the work that you need to.

Take the time right now to create a calendar of what tasks need to be completed by what dates and hold yourself to it. Once this calendar is created, there is no turning back. You either have to complete the project or you fail. That’s it. There is no wiggle room.

This will be your real guide to success: this calendar. And this is typically the missing piece that a lot of blogger’s struggle to grasp causing their blog’s to stay stagnant.
