What I Got For My Blog This Christmas

I have some mixed feelings about Christmas.

I love that people seem to be overall happier and friendlier. Even strangers which seems pretty rare in Upstate New York.

It also brings me so much joy having an excuse to buy people things that I know they will love. But I hate the checklist of Christmas.

When you have a list of people you have to buy for. They ask you what you want. You ask them what they want.

And then you exchange gifts. But both of you really knows what’s coming.

That just doesn’t sit well with me!

I love buying those surprise gifts.

You know the ones that you randomly stumble into and think “Sally will love this!”

That’s what makes Christmas fun.

All that to say, when someone asks me for gift ideas, I like to tell them some things that I’m into or practical things that I need.

And these days, it seems to deal with my business!

So here’s the business gifts I got for Christmas. Including some things I bought for myself.

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

Now before I let you go, I want to make a quick disclaimer.

Christmas isn’t all about the gifts.

It’s not how many things were under your Christmas tree or how much money someone spent on you.

One of the reasons I love Christmas is because it’s a time to really appreciate and love on your family and friends. You get to spend quality time with the ones that you love, make memories, and just show each other that you care.

But that doesn’t mean that this only has to happen once a year.

In 2019, I want to challenge you to show more love and gratitude to those around you and with everything you have in this life.

It’s truly a blessing that doesn’t deserve to be taken for granted.
